After the scandalous video to Stabiler Hate Song, in which Sascha Utech, the singer of the band Swutscher, played the leading role, the Hamburg Slacker-Boys from the Cigaretten released the second exciting video single for the album which will be released in autumn on 6 June.
Guys with girls and standardization blues against the equalized conditions up to the inability to move - especially in the heads. Last but not least, the cigarettes seem to know from history lessons what a telephone booth is. Even if they probably couldn't formulate more accurately within the context of guys with girls, to what extent corporate structures now determine the Internet and names like YouTube are already the same as tempos for handkerchiefs. In this way, the mobile phone becomes a consumer cell. Pumping the rage into the rave, guys with girls are a real antitrap hit and deliberately use quiet and loud parts in a variety of ways. Actually you wanted to announce the title of the album long ago. What's going on? Are you missing the ideas?
There are different working titles. Histamin or a portrait of the merch girl of the main band of the penultimate tour, which we would like to have painted by Ruscha Voormann, are really interesting. Stupid shit as a title has also been under discussion for quite some time.
Why does it take so long?
Well, the problem is that we'd like to make vinyl and we've put some of our money into Canadian pot stocks to make a nicer design. We also sold them profitably. Unfortunately the fees were higher than our income. We only wanted 30 Euro or so. The question is there also: If the banking takes there fees. To what extent then does the state now already earn on Pott-sales, which make share types abroad? Why are we back here in Germany? And to what extent do these fees contribute to monopolization? What is Deutsche Cannabis AG doing? When can Canadian bears buy German cannabis shares to pay environmental lawyers to preserve their species? We find: Everyone should have the chance to become a stock millionaire. Sea cows should finally be able to be CEOs of their beach section with the same rights of a legal entity as companies. In general, stock trading could have been taken over by a K.I. long ago. Stock types are so hard intelligent, they should do something meaningful.
Unfortunately, the situation with the rehearsal room in the Otzen bunker is also dragging on. But half the album is almost in there. And with all the work we are already looking forward to the release in autumn. But now we are looking forward to the single on 6/6.
What's true about the rumours that you're switching to a major for your first album?
What's true is that it's rumours.
We really have enough to do right now. But also don't understand many of the problems people have with such things these days. When people get excited about music, it's basically good.
Should Billie Eilish only perform in garages in San Francisco? No. We want her in front of big colourful lights - also here in Hamburg at the harbour. How else are we supposed to get to the garage in San Francisco? And all the CO2 footprints. I mean, what does major label still mean in 2019? To be allowed to play music to people? We wish this to every artist who wants it. It remains complicated. But we can do it.
If you talk about Billie Eilish like that now. Your singer is often told that he looks like Billie Eilish. Is that conscious or coincidence?
We happened to find out that both of them are Justin Bieber fans.
