After three online single releases the Cigaretten release their first EP. Completely without filter, but as a cigarette pack edition with download code. With Sonic Juz, the Cigarettes move Los Angeles to the lowlands of northern Germany, the Hotel California to the small town and marijuana on traffic islands. On Sonic Juz you will find everything you need to sit at bus stops. The Magical Mistery tour bus comes by, picks you up and you surf with the Cigos into the outtaspace. On their home planet - somewhere between Chuckamuck, Isolation Berlin and Nena. The double lesson of Geschi is history. The walk becomes a space trip through the vibe cosmos. Play a trick on reason and don't let sense stand in the way of your pure understanding. Songs like Pillen, whose lyrics have already been quoted on Radio Fritz, (Ein Song called) Stuckrad-Barre, that the author of the same name describes as "rude and misleading" and Yo, Future!, the first punk anthem to win over the listener, are the three songs with which the cigarettes tarred the hearts of their listeners. To make some ashes and to fill the concerts, two more tracks of Cigaretten can be heard on the EP.

On track 4 you throw yourself to your death with Lorelie from the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie. With Serotonin the cigarettes show you probably most clearly their love for the garage: raw, fast, punky and raw. Why still light cars when you have Sonic Juz from Cigarettes - probably the most tasteful kind of disruptive protests. The black block with checkered paper, when all you need is lined.
With Sonic Juz, the Gucci gang for the hanged, the gymnastics club presents its skills in running, throwing and pot beating. Just the thing for you and your capitalism-critical friends. The dream factory the Cigaretten guarantees you party fun, emotions and even a little heartbeat on a wave of garage, wave and German lyrics. With this release, the cigarettes take another step in their mission of valuable lobbying to wrest values such as freedom, lightheartedness and happiness from grand lobbies and the tobacco industry and give them back to the world. So the cigarettes are more than music, but what you make of them. Whether now loosely of the sofa or representent in the club. Whoever carries the cigarettes always has something to hold on to. Whether subversive or simply nice. One thing is crystal clear: It could be better to listen to die Cigaretten, than to burn out. Sonic Juz, the disc for cellar children and everyone who wanted to feel that way while throwing bottles out of the Yakuzi Dom Pérignon onto rare animal species.
