I have this reoccuring dream
I’m looking up a spiral staircase
White walls contrasting the steps like piano keys
wayward triads creeching their way throught the hall
“This building smells familiar”
I think to myself
as the floors underneath creech in vain
i notice this wraith-like thing silently speeding towards me, to stop right at my ear.
formless, inhumane i feel its soothing breath:
“All the pain you know
All the pain is moving”
Yes, I feel it in my gut
pain these floors have felt
tears these floors did taste
knowing, remembering
I know what‘s going to happen.
The Walls are folding like a house of cards
Nothing is real
My blood boils in the face of a dancing Jester
Now I know I‘m dreaming.
My head spins into the night
while underneath it glows
city lights boiling like an abcess
unoccupied and tenderly I glide
to burst the threshold
tenderly
free
i glide
into the night

Shroud

i dont want to be measured
dont want to be small
dont want to be
all that you dream about
at night
when you plan your memories
and come up with nothing
all that you dreamed about
when you fed by doubt
i sew my shroud
soft like a cloud
to witness something:
im growing tall
six foot tall
all you see
is a version of me
in nights remain unslept
ray of light
split my head

"Before us great Death stands
Our fate held close within his quiet hands.
When with proud joy we lift Life's red wine
To drink deep of the mystic shining cup
And ecstasy through all our being leaps—
Death bows his head and weeps."
(Rainer Maria Rilke)
watching the snow fall
from his windowsill
snowflakes howling like atomic bombs
the ground seems to shake under his weight
a white birch hidden in the white of the snow
pavement contrasting the whole scenery
snow white guilt pulls him outside
he remembered how the cold made him feel alive
though this urge remained
become one with the snow
frozen in time
alone
alive
